error 404 robot

I have been working on this problem for two weeks but am getting nowhere. I am hoping someone can share some insight. My website is 80% not robot friendly. The error code is 404 basically the robot cannot find my page. Here is the error I get:

Http Code: 404 Date: Aug 25 09:28:25 Http Version: HTTP/1.0 Size in Bytes: 1763
Referer: -
Agent: msnbot/1.0 (+http://search.msn.com/msnbot.htm)

try adding the following into the head of each page

<meta name="ROBOTS" content="INDEX,FOLLOW">

I do have the propper robot text the one you suggested. Some robots to follow it some do not. I do know this however the are too many errors in my source code, but i do not know how to fix html or edit the html in bluevoda. this is probably part of the problem too many road blocks in my source code. But I do have good news I just saved a bunch of money on my car insurance.
