you cannot convert the file extension ....
instead you can
Choose to preview the page you have built.
Then go to edit, click select all, then click copy, then click paste on a word document, or even the email for that matter .... this will then show the page, however, if you have images inserted, they won't show up for him, (if I remember correctly) perhaps they may in the email, I kind of forget ....

since my friend has a vested interest in this, thats an excellent idea. Question: once they download bv., they would be able to open an e-mail attachment from me?? or how would that work?? excuse my ignorance.

Yes, they will be able. Make sure to send the also the pictures. They will need to re-create the path to them, otherwise they will not show

I've discovered for many people to open a .bvp attachment they must do the following.
First - open the BV program.
Second - open a page (even if just a new blank page)
Third - go to the email and click to open the attachment
By doing the first 2 steps, your computer recognizes the extension and where to open the attachment. If you don't do this, on many computers, the BV choice will not be there to select to open the file with.
