failing to save document

Hello;
Again a new wall to knock down. I have developed a page and am trying to save page as ..... then trying to publish page. The page gets an error message when I try to save page as.... "failed to save document" What am I doing wrong. This is a first for me.

This normally means that you have two versions of the same page open at the same time.
