  • problem with border

    I am trying to put a floral border on a page .it looks o.k until preview then it becomes a blur of coloured lines .what am I doing wrong.?
    I hope you can help this is on a new site i am trying to build so not published yet.

      Hi 2 Cats,

      The distortion is because your image is too small and when stretched becomes distorted.

      I make my own borders from ***** photos which can be enlarged to 1200L.

      Open it in your photo editor
      enlarge photo to 1200W
      select the portion you like 1200w x 1/2" or 1" and save as a border.
      If you want to use vertically just right click and select
      "move counter clock wise or clockwise"

      Walla! U now have a custom made border from any floral photo that U like.

        thanks for suggestion I tried it and it still distorts in preview either the sides or top and bottom.I downloaded this as a border gif. so I don't understand why the problem in preview .forgot to mention it shows up o.k on one page in preview but not on another .anymore ideas would be appreciated

          On the other page where it is distorted, right-click on it and CUT it. Then use Edit >> Paste (do not use any other paste options). This will paste in in the exact same position.

          I hope this is the problem and that this helps. I will be good to have a ling to the problematic page.

          If not, delete it, copy and paste as above from the correct page. Then cut and paste again as described in first paragraph.
