    html help

    im kinda new like 3 days with blue voda and the only problem iv come to is i cant change the html when i put a picture for the background. heres what i mean

    <img src="whole1.gif" id="Image1" alt="" align="top" border="0" width="780" height="714">
    what i want it to say is

    <img src="whole1.gif" id="Image1" alt="" align="top" border="0" width="100%" height="100%">

    what this would do is make the picture aka. background or template idk auto adjust to diffrent screen sizes but i cant change it.

    any one know if i can change it in any way? thanks -rickyh

    im not a domain owner yet and will soon be buying on with voda if i can get this site made!

    Re: html help

    I don't believe you can change that (that is to say any html that bluevoda creates). Its a html generator that makes fixed size websites, I don't believe you can make a fluid template with it. (Don't quote me though, I don't use BV, the majority that I know about it is what I have read)

          Re: html help

          Other then publishing the file, downloading it, and editing the html code I don't think there is another way. This isn't really feasible either as you would have to redo the edits if you publish the same page with BV again.

          I know you can add code when you use BV, but I don't believe it will allow you to edit the code it creates.

                      Re: html help

                      BlueVoda is a html generator, not a html editor. It was not intended or designed to do what you want. So don't blame the program.

                      The solution is easy: go in your Control Panel, and open the online editor . There you can easily edit and save the modified code.

                        Hi, George,

                        He does not have a hosting account yet, so no cpanel.

                        I think this software can help: HTML KIT

                        There is a free download available.

                        I would also recommend other members to download the software.

                          Re: html help

                          The problem, if i correctly understood, is not HOW to edit the code but how to GET the code.

                          Since BV will not provide the actual code in preview (some links are disabled) it is not possible to edit the code until it is published. When this is done, you can either download the code and edit it, or view the web page PUBLISHED code and copy paste it in ANY html editor (or even simply Notepad) Or use the online code editor or online HTML Editor available through CP.
