what is cig bin

In your file manager under public_html what is the cig bin. Do I need that. I dont think I put it there? Sorry very new to this not very computer smart.

The Common Gateway Interface, or CGI, is a standard for external gateway programs to interface with information servers such as HTTP servers.
Basically! leave it alone & no playing with it.

Thank you. I have been having trouble publishing I keep getting 403 forbidden when I go to my page (I have submitted a ticket) but I thought I would see if that might have something to do with it. (still no reply on the ticket)
