    what happened!?

    i published my website but everytime i go to the website address, the website DOES come up BUT...in the background there are tuns of html coding, what happened! here is a screenshot of what it looks like..



    as you can see the site is working but the strange html at the back messes it up! see for yourself www.workingclassrecruit.co.uk what do i do!!??

    Change the page to php via page properties, save & republish

      i realized that my page was infact saved under html, so i changed it to php. but it still didnt work!

        Actually, it did work. You now have two pages, one with the .html extension and one with .php. You will need to do two things to make it all good:

        1. Delete the html version off the server. In BV, open the page. Tools > FTP Manager, "Connect," and then find the html page in the list in the right hand pane. (Right click to delete).

        2. In any links that refer to the page, be sure to change the links to the php version.

          I have done exactly what you have said and now is giving me the message "page not found" when i click on 'enter site' bar from the splash screen. what is going on? pleaaaase hellllllp.

            Right--that's the link I mentioned. It's still calling for the html version of the page, which you have deleted. In BV highlight that link, click on the Link icon and insert http://www.workingclassrecruit.co.uk/home.php

                Yes. (If you need to. No need to change any pages or links that are working).

                Think of it as shipping something to a street address or calling a certain phone number: the address or number has to be EXACTLY right or it's no go. Same with links on your pages; they each must have the full and accurate address of the page they want to link to.
