How to change the background that is not within the specified margins

Hi,

How can I change the background colour outside the specified margins ?

I want my background white in the margins,which already is

Then I need to find a way to change the background colour to green for the sides of the website that is not in the margins

My site is adjusted to center of browser.

Could you please advice ?

Are you saying you want to have a green background then a white page (centered) for you actual site area? Add a white shape, build it away from the left side a little, in the page properties set the background color to green. Add all your elements with in the white shape area.
