I Need help with Sub Domains

This is what I've done so far . . .

I went to my contro panel, clicked on the create subdomain and
created a dan.platinumballerz.com

So it's
1. Subdomain - dan
2. main domain - platinumballerz.com
3. I named the dan page - index
4. The I published to the - Publish_html/dan - Folder

But I still can't see the page,
Does anyone know what I'm doing wrong?

The page seems to be OK, but are you using the same index page as the main domain. On number 4 was it meant to be public_html/dan instead of Publish_html/dan & have you made a new index page & published this. Remember to save this index page in a different folder on your machine.
