BlueVoda or Soholaunch

I have just joined Vodahost as I was very impressed with the tutorials and the level of support demonstrated via the forums. I'm on a steep learning curve and have checked the tutorials but I'm afraid I'm still not quite clear on a few points and hope you can help. Can you steer me in the right direction please on the following (I hope I'm using the correct forum!):
1) First and foremost, I have started building my site using BlueVoda but now I'm not sure if I should be using Soholaunch. Can you advise please based on my questions below.
2) My site will have certain pages accessible only to members. I watched the BlueVoda "forms" tutorials which include a password box and details of whether it is for an existing or new member but I'm still unclear how this will work. Can you clarify please how this facility is used for (i) registration of new members after acceptance of Ts & Cs, (ii) generating automated email confirmation showing username and password, (iii) member login, and (iv) controlling access to member only pages.
3) Each member will create database records of their own that only they as author (and I) can see. Other members will only be able to see some key fields but if they want to see the full record they will have to pay a small fee to download it. Anyone who has paid to download the record can then leave feedback on the quality of the record. Can these websites handle payment for downloads in this way and the subsequent leaving of feedback please?
