Website really slow and takes forever to upload initially...

When I publish my website it takes forever to upload when people are viewing it themselves. I mean it is very slow. Is there a way to make the pages faster when viewing? I have published many websites through bluevoda and this seems to be the BIGGEST problem. Thanks

Would need the site url. But chances are item on the pages are not web friendly. IE: Images to large, video is also a very large file.
