  • Seeing published changes on the veb site.

I have just started managing the web site that was set up for our church and I have successfully published a page but, when I go on line I don't see the changes that I have made on the web page. Also, from the time that I started doing the web site, the IP address has changed. So, I had to talk with the person that originally set up the page to find out what my problem was, and the IP address had been changed. How do I find out these changes more easily. Thank your help in this matter.

Re: Seeing published changes on the veb site.

Hi; If the pages are not updating it is for one of three
    reasons.

    1) Your browser is caching, to fix this, run the below
    program:

    www.ccleaner.com

    2) You have changed the saved names of your pages. If you do
this they will no longer update. To fix this, you must not
    change the original saved names.

    3) You are publishing to the wrong folder. To fix this you
must ensure that you are publishing to the correct folder,
for the main site this is always public_html

Emails are sent to the account holders regarding server IP
address changes. Is it you who receives these emails?
