BV Sitemap generator caution

I've just used BV sitemap generator and I see it forces all upper case characters in the published url to lowercase in the sitemap file - causing google webmaster tools to list the affected urls as 404 (unavailable). Not good for search results.

Anyone know if this is a know problem or is there something I'm doing wrong?

The tutorial called "how to name your pages" instructs you to use lower case letters only. Do Not use upper case for page names or URLs.
