Editing nav bar button sizes

Hi i'm new and i'm stuck!

I'm currently designing a site and i'm stuck at the nav bar, I can set one up with style and mouseovers etc. but what I want to do is change the button sizes so the bar fits my layout nicely.

Is there any way of doing this or do I need to create my own custom buttons at the right size then load them up for use with the nav bar tool?

You'll need to create them and add them to the nav bar folder in BV.
