How do I link index page to pdf files (e-books)?

    Hi folks,

I want to set up a web site that will allow customers to download specific Adobe Acrobat files (pdf) after being given the appropriate link. As I know bugger all about setting up web sites I'm a bit lost. Firstly, is it possible to have my index file (home page) linking to pdf files? If it is possible, how can I go about it?

My basic idea is to sell my own e-books on E-Bay. This site would be my holding site for all my e-books as I write them. Eventually, I hope to turn it into my own e-book store. Any ideas?

    Thanks heaps,

    Lindsay

Yes, it is. Create a simple link using anything you like: text, or image or button or rollover. Then link the object to the pdf file using the link http://www.yoursite.com/pdf_filename.pdf
