    forms

    cecidit.fr

I didn't quite understand the way to make a form !
I have created a page so that my clients can contact me by e.mail.
So I have created a page with a form layout and a mailto.
Do I have to create a second page .PHT if I want the first one to work ?
Thank you for your answer !

    Re: forms

    Hello Cecidit..

Yes. Your form is only a part of the process.. Now you have you r form created, you need to create another page that lets the user know that the information is submitted.. but more importantly, that page (or a file loaded onto the server) must contain a script that looks at the form, takes the data out and sends them to your email.. That script is 'PHP'..

Don't be put off by this.. it really isent complicated.. All you have to do is look at the 'Form Tutorials' for blueVoda and also do a search in the forum for 'PHP or Form processing'.. I am sorry I don't have the actual links, but the information is easily accessible...

Again.. first step is the tutorials.
