  • custom navigation image

I would like to have a navigation menu (vertical orientation on the left side of the page). However instead of a visible button I just want the text. I would like a small image, which I have on my disk to the left of the text. Further I would like the image to change when the text or image is moused over. Does anyone know how to do this in BlueVoda?

Actually I think the mouseover part is pretty clear. The part I'm really having trouble with is installing my own image and not having a visible button behind the text.

    Hi,

Open BlueVoda and view the bottom left toolbar. Right at the bottom is the
Text menu icon. Select and drag to your page. You can add in as many text menus as you want by going to properties.

      hi
      rhin
you can make a button in you paint program you have on your pc, with the small image on it for your nav bar.
open paint, make sure the page is set at the right size for a button.
place your image on the page( normally to the left)
save in blue voda nav bars.
when you open new nav bar your button should be there.
      hope this helps.

        Dear adele,
Thank you for you helpful reply. Can you tell me EXACTLY where to put the new image I created. I don't have a BlueVoda/nav bars folder. Should I create one? Is it definitely "nav bars" and not "navbars" or "navbar"? I have tried several different permutations and cannot get my new button to appear in the navigation dialog.

          Re: custom navigation image

Nevermind. I figured it out. It had to go in
          C:\Program Files\BlueVoda Website Builder\navbar

          I was looking in
          C:\...\Documents\BlueVoda

which was where the stuff I downloaded got extracted to.
