Saving a customers website and images

I am working on a site for another BV account holder. While in the design phase I am just working off my account. Once we have the design nailed down i would like the transition to flow smoothly. I have access to their BV account and IP. My question is:
Do I save all images using BlueFTP into their public-html folder and then insert them?

I want to make sure that they have all access to images incase they ever want to update. Thanks for the guidance.

When you publish the pages on your computer to your clients account/website then all images, pics, etc will be available on that site.

If you then copy the directory from your computer to your clients computer
(memory stick or cd) then all pages, pics etc will be available to your client.

If you have been clever, you will have kept your clients pages and pics in a different folder/directory on your computer....read folder for directory.

If not nthen before you do to much work, open a different folder/place and copy all your clients work into that.
It will mean that you need to open each page and clicck on every image to let bv know where to find the pics when you next publish.....

Once you have this seperate directory/folder/place, you could then transfer the lot to your client.............

Dori,
Are these people going to want to be able to make changes on their BV page? Because, if so, and you send them the BV pages - they'll have only red x's for all the images and will have to go in and add the images back from the path they are on on their computer.

If you're going to do all editing, it won't be a problem.

Beth I took great pains to let Dori know that the images should be kept and then copied to the client from the same place from where they had been originally published.................pages, images, the whole kit and kaboodle...

Thanks for helping me through this David and Bethers!

We have not discussed future editing, but I am sure they will want to do their own down the line... hence my post to make sure I did everything correctly.

Once we have decided on design I will recreate the pages within their BV account and yes, David, folder (directory) I understand. I just want to make sure that once I have all images in their folder within their account that they will have complete access.

This will work right?????

Once they have all the images in their folder within their account they will have complete access TO THE WEBSITE for viewing and deleting.

They will also need all the images in their(copy of your) folder within their computer if, later, they wish to modify their website/data.....Yes.....

David, I've done that on the two computers I work on - and the other computer does not use the same path to get to a disk even as mine - so it doesn't always work that easily. But hopefully it will. I have found when working on something for others, it's more likely to have the same path though if I use an external device for the pictures - either a cd or usb.

Okay,
I will create a directory and have all images in there and upload it to their account.
I will also save all images to a CD and send it to them when I am done. This should remedy all problems right?

Is there anything else I need to consider?
