    G'day Dean

Q: When i Publish a page of the same name it goes over the top and deletes the previous page correct, it doesnt hang around my website take up space or anything

A: Correct...if you make changes, rename or name a page the same
as an existing page it will overwrite the original page so then the
    original does not exist anymore.

Always be careful naming new pages for this reason.

          Hi

Mary Cavill here, my first page is showing up on the web.

www.health.marycavill.com, but the page links don't seem to be working.
I have checked and rechecked, and rechecked them, and now I can't see anything wrong with them, but all they are doing is bringing up internet explorer saying the page cannot be found, error report.

Anyone had this problem, if so how did you fix it.

          Regards
          Mary

Mary, this is a different topic, so start a new thread... that way you'll get the experts to answer. Your question will be hard to find when it's mixed up with someone else's question.

                Re: Publishing pages

From what I can see at the bottom of the page when I click on the link, the links say health.health. I think that's one health too many it should just be http://www.health.marycavill.com Still post a new thread to get correct answers. And watch the tutorial again... I've watched them 3 or 4 times over and always find something new.

How do i delete pages that i change the name of, in Control panel.

A: in control panel go to File Manager then public_html

Find the file for the page you want to delete,
click on the file name, then at right you will see
                  "Delet File"

click this and your file will be deleted.

Once deleted you will see it in the trash bin at bottom of page,
                  so to restore just click.
