    publishing

I am having serious problems publishing with version 9.1 of bv. I have downloaded v9.2 but it will not over write the older version.
I am being told to un-install the previous version, but, although I did this from control panal on my laptop, it's still there when I click on 'help' from the toolbar and 'about'
    Please can someone help me

    Re: publishing

You are installing the older version over and over again...

    1) Create a folder on your desk top call NEW.
    2) Download BlueVoda directly into this folder.
    3) Run the setup.exe for this folder.

      Re: publishing

Thank you, I have just done this but unfortunately to no avail. I still have version 9.1
I am now at my wits end as I really need to get this website up and running.
Please do you have any other suggestions.

Try uninstalling the older version first.

              Re: publishing

I think the part you are missing is that you have left your Blue Voda folders in My Documents. Those need to be deleted also. Those folders are probably what is hanging you up. Good Luck.

                Karen,
You never want to delete your BV files - you'd lose the website.

Jaykay, somehow you are missing a step - as if you install the new version, and still have the old, either you aren't installing the new properly, or are you installing both.

Before you install - go into the program and delete the entire thing from your computer. Since, somehow you aren't installing it over the program, you need to do a completely fresh install.

Unfortunately, if you are not being able to figure it out - getting help as was suggested is the best advice to give you.
