how to name addon domain home page?

i already have index as the name of my home page- so what do i name the home page for my addon domain?
i'm getting the index in the browser, so i know its some kind of naming issue.
please help.

Hi, the same index Just create a new folder on your home machine for your new site to save getting similar pages mixed up.
You will also be publishing to public_html/newsite/
