cannot create a new page

Hi,
I created my website a while back, however recently when I create a new page using the "save as" option the page can be published but cannot be viewed with internet explorer (and other browsers i suspect). In fact the new page created appears in black font in my folder rather than the bleu font for the valid pages. When i publish the page i can see it in the control panel but the file type appears as “text/x-generic” instead of “text/html”.
How do I fix this?

well as I said the page cannot be viewed in IE but the link should be;

In fact when using the link I gave you above my IE tells me that the link is broken. Additionally the file extension in the File Manager appears as .bvp instead of .html

I just viewed you website with Internet Explorer.

Everything works fine for your thumbs.

There are no broken links???????????
