    Publishing a revised page

I make changes to pages fairly often but some pages one in particular just refuses to up date. I have gone to ftp and deleted the file, I have cleared my computers cache of temporary files, the only thing I have not done is to go into my control panel and delete them there, should I?

The average update can take from 24 to 48 hours, this was not so at one time, is voda host having a problem with their servers?

The page that just out right refuses to update is the upcoming events page. jctp.us is the index page.

Your thoughts on the matter would be appreciated.

Re: Publishing a revised page slow to not at all

How can we tell if we're seeing the old page or the updated page?

Re: Publishing a revised page slow to not at all

good question. On the up coming events page the top of the page should have the same appearance as the index, home and the who's running page. Also the html section that supports the embedded forum has also been moved down so that it is not cut off.

This page has had more than 24 hours on it and still no change.

Yes if all other try's failed. Delete the index.html file and then republish.

please notice my last post was to help with the solution ....

                  as to the previous post.....

please explain why knowing someone else is having the same problem is not valid and needs to be a separate post ?

Because this post was started by "SNIPE_1038" AND HIS PROBLEM HAS NOT BEEN RESOLVED and until it is resolved nobody should gate crash and push forward their own problem.

                    That was what you did.

Whether you have a similar problem is a secondary issue
this is not your post and you should start a new one to highlight your problem.
