Updating the Index Page

Hi!

I have made some changes to the index page of our website. I have all my ducks in a row, links, pictures etc.
The page is named index. When I upload this, will it replace the current one? Assuming I have made no mistakes on my end
will it simply start showing the new page without affecting the other ones? (After I clear cache on my browser, of course)
All I have done is added a few images and rebuilt the links buttons.

Hi, yes, as long as the page name remains the same, when you upload it to the server it will overwrite the old file and update the webpage!
