Can I Set Up More Than One WP Blog?

    Hey guys...

I set up my first blog ok, but now I want to publish another on a different domain. So I went through the process of adding on a domain, and installing WP the very same way I did the first, however after publishing, all I get is the static CPanel Apache page - the one you get when some thing is not quite right...have tried to figure this one out but no joy!

Can someone please tell me what I'm missing?

Check your add-on installation in cPanel.

After installation of the Add-On Domain a Folder will appear in your public_html under the name of your new Domain [without the .com]

Inside this folder is where you have to install your 2nd WP.

If you are seeing the Apache cPanel page rather than the full cPanel Home Page, then you are most likely blocked from accessing your cPanel, possibly due to excessive attempts to Logon (which automatically triggers the Security Lockout). If this is the case, Submit a Support Ticket and request lifitng the lockout.

If, on the other hand, you are seeing the root Index File page when attempting to view your 'new' add-on site, then you probably did not create the add-on domain properly and/or install the new WordPress script into the correct destination: either you installed it other than where you intended and there is no stable WP installation to display, or you installed multiple versions into the same Directory (folder) which causes a conflict between Index pages and an auto-default to displaying neither.

It is rather difficult to determine which Error page you are actually seeing and without more information, it is difficult to suggest a solution. It would be helpful to provide a URL to each of the destinations so we might be able to also view the issue, and to provide the domain names in question so we might be able to sort things out for you.

The above comments were made assuming that you know how to properly create an Add-On domain, and that upon doing so you attempted to install WP properly .... please offer a reply with the information mentioned above to best allow us a course to offer assistance.
