Newbie question

Okay I am working on my webpage, I have not published it yet. But when I do how can I besure that if I click on my gallery button it will take me to my gallery and when I click on a menu bar selection that it will take me to the page I want it to go to?

The only way to know that, for certain, is to publish your pages. You shouldn't worry about publishing your pages - other pople can't see them until you tell people the URL. You have plenty of time to fine tune your website then you decide when to let other people know that you are up and running.
