Does Blue Voda builder work WITH Soho?

Hi,

I am building my site with Blue Voda 8.0, which is wonderful. Am I understanding correctly that if I want to have ecommerce capability then I need to build the whole site using Soho? Or, do I just build the ecommerce part with Soho and use both?
