    Script stopping File Manager

Ref: www.elegantsteam.com. I'm having a problem opening up the public html folder in Control Panel. A dialog opens stating a script is causing IE to run slowly. If I answer "Yes" or "No" then IE stops responding and I can't go any further.

I'm not familiar with IE these days as I always prefer Firefox. Is there any way that I can open up Control Panel in Firefox ? It might solve the above problem - if I have to use IE for the purpose then can anyone help with the unknown script problem ?

I use FF 100% and have not had any problems using CPanel.

Scripting usually occurred when I uploaded Word documents.

When I deleted them then uploaded again the scripting issue disappeared.

    Hope that helps.

The problem it seems is your IE.

Download the latest IE8 and reinstall.

As an alternative you should also install FireFox on your PC.

I use IE8, FF and Opera so I can test my webpages in preview before publishing.
