Domain name and add on domain

I would like to change my public_html former business domain to my purchased add on domain. I do not want to pay for two domain names nor have file links associated with the main domain.
Any suggestions as support tickets don't resolve the problem?

Support ticket & ask for a system reset using your new domain name. Let them know that you understand that you will loose all info on your existing site. This will be like going back to the same as when you 1st came to VH.
