Importing file to database and moving files

If someone could help me as to where I go for this .....

I need to

- Import the a backup.sql file into my database vgb1

- then I need to move this file to my public_html/guestbook


I see in my sql in the control panel, when i go into my sql i see the backup file and below it the database vgb1 it says, delete, check, repair .... it does not say import ... how is it i import from the backup.sql to the database vgb1

Use phpMyAdmin to import your database. click phpMyAdmin at the bottom of sql page in control panel

I'll try that ... sounds like a new adventure to me ... one thing you can be sure of is that you definitely learn alot of things each day, it's truly amazing, I'll bet I am only 1/1000th through what blue voda truly can do ... luv it!!
