    Automatic encoding configuration

So, my site is correctly viewable only if you set encoding in your browser to Unicode UTF-8. The problem is that a visitor may not know it, plus, if one does set up the correct encoding for the index page, he/she still is going to need to set it to Unicode UTF-8 at every previously unvisited page.

So is there a way, my website can automatically tell visitors browser to set it's encoding to Unicode UTF-8?

    Re: Automatic encoding configuration

Its part of the meta tags, but I don't know if BV will allow you to edit the ones it generates (setting the content/type would be a default attribute that it would add).

If it doesn't it might be a setting you can change in BV, but I can't say for sure.

Sorry I can't be of more help, I don't use BV, so I can't really comment on if it does or doesn't have the feature

Do you use a Password Protected Directory? Need a way to allow users to make their own account, try my .htaccess Login Script
