Old pages wont load into new BV version

    Hi Guys,

I created a large number of pages in BV, I just opened a hosting account and the IP address was not in the range covered by my version of BV so couldnt publish. Raised a ticket#HZL-261370] , was told to upgrade, did so but new version will not open my pages just crashed the software. Was told to clean registry and reinstall which I did, still no joy, was told to DELETE ALL MY PAGES AND BUILD THEM ALL AGAIN!!!. Crazy, however customer support will no longer answer my emails on the matter. I have installed an earlier version again and my pages open, so if they moved my hosting account to a server in the old range all would be well surely I have asked this but cant get any response from support and am bitterly dissappointed. Any ideas?

Whatever issues you are experiencing are caused on your end alone, most likely the inability to cleanly download the newest version of Blue Voda due to connection issues. There are no shortcuts to the established protocols, and downloading a new copy of Blue Voda to refresh the IP list will not affect your previously created pages (another sign it is your local system).

    1. Download Blue Voda, taking the steps as outlined in the instructions.
    2. Open your pages one at a time and Publish them to the IP assigned, which is in the List.

Make sure you have "Whitelisted" Blue Voda in your particular OS (especially Vista) so proper connection and runtime is allowed.
Running Windows 7 ?? Review this thread.
Be sure your OS has undergone the current MS Updates, and that you are running SP3.
Reset your modem to create a new IP address to make connection with the Servers.
Scan your local system to identify any lingering *********s that may prevent any software from running optimally.
Search for and locate other Troubleshooting methods in the Forums to do everything you can to assure your local system is operating capably.

There is no way to "move" your account from one server to the next, so your request is unreasonable and highly irregular.

Making unreasonable requests, demands, or otherwise failing to follow established methods and protocols will only result in identifying you as an individual that cannot be assisted in the manners allowed and established, so, quite frankly, it is better to always present yourself as amicable and pleasant to produce the best results .... with Corporate or in the VodaTalk Forums both!
