How to no follow links out

I can't see when you insert/build an external html link, there doesn't seem to be an option to no follow it.

Is the only way to do this by going into code editor in file manager and adding the no follow attribute afterwards

Yes, you need to change the HTML code in the file manager after the page is published to do this.
